My previous favorite tee was an American Apparel Tri-Blend Crewneck, until I discovered their Tri-Blend Unisex Deep V-Neck. Something about the 50% polyester, 25% cotton & 25% rayon construction makes this tee super soft and drapey, giving you a long and lean look.
The deep v-neck is super flattering against the longer cropped sleeves. I usually wear a medium but since this is unisex sizing, I went with a small. It’s still loose around the shoulders but hugs the body loosely for a semi-fitted look. For an easy outfit this fall I am pairing with skinny pants and various boots. I’ve stocked up in grey, black and indigo and am really holding back to buy up the other 3 colors. They are $22 each.

here’s a tip from an american apparel employee: wear the neckline just under your armpits, bring the sleeves to the center of your chest and tie a knot = a cute sweetheart top dress!
works better in a larger size, so maybe borrow your man’s

I’m wearing that shirt right now! It’s seriously my favorite tee and I probably wear it once a week. It’s so easy to throw on without looking like a complete slob.

i have four of every single color in different sizes xs to L . just a little obsessed. they’re so comfy!!!! and they’re so easy to style.
word to the wise, if you know anyone with a wholesale account then you can buy those shirts for about 6 bucks a pop (which is why i have so many)

i absolutley love american apparels t-shirt. but i love this shirt most because its really soft and usually shirts with a stretch make you look fat, but this makes you llook super lean. and i love how its a v neck so it doesent make your neck feel over crowded.It can be worn for a dressy outfit or even with some sweat pants for the gym.Its cool and casual.
