It seems like everyone is pregnant! There are 5 girls pregnant in my office right now… and that is no joke. One of my girlfriends just announced that she is expecting a girl — I am so excited for her! I wanted to jump on the opportunity to buy a bunch of Stella McCartney for GAP pieces for her little girl but I don’t want to jump the gun. A lot of people are superstitious and like to hold off on baby gifts until further on in the pregnancy so I decided to pamper soon-to-be-mum instead.
I got her the Belli Pregnancy Gift Box which is full of bath goodies that promote safe pregnancies: they don’t use any ingredients linked to birth defects. And also because I am super addicted to BLIK wall decals, I also ordered her the “Birth Day” wall sticker. Hey, it’s for the baby room, not the baby. =)
PS. Phew, I had a hard time categorizing this one. I don’t have a category for babies yet!!

What about buying the baby clothing now and just gifting her with them later? Or do you think you will buy them later anyway?
I know lots of girls that just bought the Stella collection in XL or XXL! I wish my arms weren’t oddly long or I would’ve snagged the blazer…

I really love this gift becasue I think gifts during a pregnancy that are actually for the mother are so thoughtful and appreciated. With all the excitement about the baby, the mom can sometimes be forgotten!! Good job
