Apparently turn it on its side. =) This is definitely a bag that will make people look twice. I think it’s a cute, playful twist on a classic. Definitely a collector’s item!
One last note: shouldn’t it have been called the sideways bag instead of the upside-down bag? :P

as a bonafide fan of the 2.55, i do not like this new version. coco chanel designed the original 2.55 to make the “perfect” lady’s purse, it’s supposed to make your like less hectic and keep your hands free, this version defeats its original purpose.
Just loved on this hand bag at the Wynn in Vegas. You can put things in the top of the bag just like any other bag BUT then you can turn it on its lovely side and it open like a cluch bag. It is a dream come true and someday it will be mine!!!
I’m from the Bay area, first time i fell in love w/ this purse when i saw it in Las Vegas. I always wanted to own a Chanel purse & it is my dream to have one. But it was not practical to spend this kind of money esp. during this recession time. But i said to myself that i work hard so i deserve it. I went to Union square in a spare of moment then came to find out that the Chanel Botique close @ 7pm. I ran @ Bloomingdale & they don’t carry it ;-(. Asked people around & someone said check Neiman Marcus, i only have 1/2 hr. to walk down there for they close @ 8pm. Made it & asked the sales rep. if they carry the purse w/ my descriptions since i don’t know the name @ that time. She went @ the back & came back w/ the purse. I was over joy for more than a year i saw the purse again. To my amazed she said it was on sale. I told her this was really meant for me ;-) I even match it with a wallet. Time to pay I was told they only accept American Express & personal check . Who carries a check now a days when shopping? I was really upset for a lousy policy. This is not the way to run bus. She said they can only hold it for 1 day! To make a long story short I can’t go back d next day for I have a trip to make. Tonight i’m still lossing sleep & writing this comment @ 4am. Whom to blame???? I think this huge Dept. store lost a valuable customer & should consider changing their policy!!! If it really meant for me i’m going to own it one of this day …can’t wait to have it.
In response to my comment from above , i’m glad to share to everyone that i owned the Upside-down purse as of June 14 when i purchased it. Paid extra $18.00 for shipping & it was on my hand on June 16. I’m enjoying my dream purse every chance i get ;-) Praise God for my Over time i was able to afford it :D)
