I have an unhealthy obsession with boat/navy/cruise/yachting stuff. Maybe it’s not so much an obsession but a natural inclination towards anything navy and white and especially striped.
Anyways, I ran into a pair of these decker slip-ons at Puma and I thought to myself “Cute, those have potential.” Then I tried them on and I refused to take them off. First of all, something about the shape made my feet look smaller. And unlike most Puma casual shoes, they were made of a soft leather upper and molded to my feet. (Regular Puma’s give me major blisters). They make a much more fashionable statement than your average pair of Sperry Topsiders but also have an athletic flair to them.

those *are* cute. so you bought them? how much?
Very cute. So cute, in fact, that I bought a pair for myself. I hope you don’t mind, CT. Imitation is sincere flattery. In my defense, I live in Michigan, grew up on the water, and my parents own a boat……so these shoes remind me of those things, too. The deal was absolutely sealed when Zappo’s said there were only two pairs left in my size, I’m a sucker for those warnings.
I LOVE my two pairs of sperry topsiders! :)
wheeeree did you get those? must buy now. be a friend and post a link, please.
